Group-based Activities

The objective of a group-based activity is to encourage people with disability to come together to develop their social skills, communicate and explore a range of activities with others of like mind, all under the supervision of health care professionals.

For people living with disabilities, being in their homes for an extended period of time and remaining unengaged can be incredibly boring and frustrating. As part of a daily centre-based activity group, individuals living with a disability build capacity and improve their well-being.

The activities we offer are tailored to cater to the interests and needs of our participants. Each participant gets to express themselves and achieve the best results through fun and interesting activities. Service delivery depends on the goals our participants set for themselves.

Our list of group activities includes:

  • Knitting
  • Drawing
  • painting
  • Singing
  • Drumming
  • cooking
  • movies
  • fishing

We are happy to discuss other group activities that you maybe interest you.
